Pasanita’s Kindergarten Puppy Class is for puppies 3 to 6 months of age. This course will help you create a new relationship and begin training with your new puppy by building confidence, learning to shape and develop positive behavior patterns, understanding your puppy’s critical growth periods, behavior and development, and provide socialization in getting you started on the right paw!

Cost: $140.00 for 6 weeks. Your 6 weeks begin the first week that you enroll.

Rabies Vaccinations are required for any dog over 4 months old.

Course introduces the basic “livability” and obedience exercises for youngsters: Sit, Down, Stand, Stay in position, Come when called, Walking vs. Heeling with your puppy. These exercises will help prepare you for both STAR Puppy and the Novice Obedience Programs.

Additional exercises and topics covered are:

Exercises: Calming, Give & Take It, Leave it, Fronts and heeling position, Watch-me, Feeding protocol, Tricks, and a confidence course will be available each lesson.

Topics: Teaching your puppy to learn, crating, house training, and behavior issues.

What to bring to Class:

• Your puppy!

• Leash and Collar. Acceptable collars: flat buckle (leather or nylon), martingale or chain collar.

• Proof of Vaccination.

• Poop bags, Water, and bowl for your puppy.

• “High-value treats” that your puppy loves. Soft treats that are easily swallowed are best.

• Chair or towel/blanket (since you may be kneeling or sitting on the lawn).

• No harnesses, head collars, or chain leashes please.

• Platform or crate pad (This will be used in class and in home exercises).

• Platform or a raised or designated surface that your puppy can sit on.
